Dr. Eugenio Cremascoli
President
Born in Milan on 30 December 1941, Dr. Cremascoli obtained a degree in Economy and Commerce at the Catholic University in 1968. Even before finishing his studies, he started working in the hospital sector in the G. Cremascoli's family business, founded in 1954, where he was responsible for the promotion and sales of innovative products, mainly intended for the Surgical and Anaesthesia/Reanimation sector.
Since the 70’s, having established himself in the Cardiosurgery field, he specialized in the design and production of highly technological Operating Blocks and Post-Operative Intensive Care Units, creating the most important Cardiosurgery facilities in Italy (Milan - Niguarda, Pavia, Milan - Sacco, Rome-S. Camillo, Cagliari, etc.). In the 80's, with the arrival of Interventionist Cardiology, he gave an important boost to this sector by collaborating with pioneering companies in the field to provide concrete support in terms of training and information for this emerging category of cardiologists.
In 1986 he was the creator, accomplisher and manager of the “Centro Cuore Columbus”, an autonomous cardiology service at the “Casa di Cura Columbus” private hospital in Milan, creating the first real example of "project financing" and "service management" of a healthcare facility, including all the Cardiosurgery and Haemodynamics structures. Today N.G.C. Medical S.p.A., the company he founded in 1989, is an undisputed national leader in the “Global Service management” of highly technological units, such as Haemodynamics, Interventionist Radiology and Cardiosurgery, with 22 centres realized and managed in Italy.
The success and increasingly widespread use of this “global service”, which represents a radical change in healthcare management, are the rewarding fruits of the intuitive abilities and strong innovative spirit that has always characterized the professional life of Dr. Cremascoli, Scientific Director of the journal "Scienze e Tecnologie Mediche" (Medical Science and Technology) – a supplement to the periodical “Bollettino Cardiologico” (Cardiology Bulletin). In addition, he has had his pilot’s licence since 1978 and is qualified to fly Executive Jets. |
